In the town of Consuegra, there was a street fair complete with stands where you could purchase saffron, and on the hill above town there were plays and dances taking place around the iconic windmills. I love photographing dancers in local costume. You can always be guaranteed a colorful display and a lot of joy. Watching the spectators was almost as much fun as watching the dancers.<\/p>\nBoth evenings I spent in Consuegra, I spent photographing the windmills through sunset.
