Spain 7: Five Days Exploring Tenerife in the Canary Islands is the latest in my Journals of a Travel Photographer series. In this series, I share images made during my photographic travels along with behind-the-scenes notes on their capture. The images are arranged more or less chronologically, recording the images that were made day by day and giving some small insight into what life can be like when you’re on the road, and working. It’s only glamorous some of the time, but it’s (almost) always fun.
The Tenerife book is especially interesting as it was my first trip to the Canary Islands. I’m not sure what I was expecting from a group of islands off the coast of Morocco, but I certainly wasn’t expecting the diversity of landscape, the colorful architecture and the great food and people that I found there.
